Leeds Running Festival
The Leeds Running Festival takes place within Roundhay Park, one of the largest city parks in Europe. The park covers over 700 acres, featuring a landscape of parkland, woodland, lakes, and gardens. Participants navigate a course consisting of road and gravel surfaces. The event serves as a platform to support the work of St. Gemma’s Hospice.
Runners can choose from several distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10k
- 5k
- Junior Race
The event utilizes chip-timing technology to provide accurate results for all participants. The course includes distance flags at every kilometer, and marshals are stationed throughout the route to provide guidance.
An event village is established on-site, offering various food and drink options. Every participant who completes their distance receives a unique themed medal and post-race goodies.
