West Rouge Sports & Recreation Association Fun Run 2026
The event is based at Port Union Waterfront Park in Scarborough and follows the Waterfront Trail west. The course crosses the Waterfront Trail Bridge and then turns north to follow the Highland Creek trail. At 2.5 km the route turns around and returns to the start. The 10k run completes an additional lap along the same west and north route before returning to the start. The race will not run east toward Rouge Beach due to trail construction.

There are two water stations on the course: one at the start and one at the 2.5 km turnaround. 10k participants pass both stations twice. Free parking is available in the Rouge Hill GO station west lot at the foot of Port Union Road, followed by a short walk to the park. Washrooms are available at Port Union Village Commons Park.
Prizes will be awarded to top male and female participants in each age category, with at least 18 prizes available. Additional prizes for special participants may be offered depending on participation. Participants who provide an email address will receive a personalized certificate showing placement for the top three or participation within their event, gender and age group.
Registration fees include mandatory charges and vary by registration period. Example rates: 10k CA$45.41 early bird, CA$50.81 regular, CA$56.20 late; 5k Run and 5k Walk CA$40.02 early bird, CA$45.41 regular, CA$50.81 late. The event runs rain or shine; if cancelled there are no refunds. Registrations are non transferrable and non deferrable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
