Event details
West Lancs Spring Triathlon & Multisport 2026 takes place on Sunday 19 April 2026 at Edge Hill University, Saint Helens Road, Ormskirk, Lancashire L39 4QP. The swim uses the 25 m pool inside the Sports Centre. The cycle uses a three-lap, 21.5 km course described as relatively flat. The run follows fitness trails around the campus and finishes on the running track. Registration closes on 16 April 2026 at 12:00 or when the event fills.

Available formats and representative distances:
- Triathlon: 400 m swim, 21.5 km cycle, 5 km run
- Duathlon: 5 km run, 21 km cycle, 2.5 km run
- Aquathlon: 400 m swim, 5 km run
- Aquabike: 400 m swim, 21 km cycle Relay options are offered for several formats.
Entry requirements and inclusions:
- Competitors must be at least 15 years of age in the event year and medically fit to race.
- A roadworthy bike and recognised cycle helmet are required for bike events; mountain bikes and hybrids are acceptable.
- Triathlon competitors must hold a British Triathlon membership or a single-use Race Pass.
- Entries include a finishers medal, a swim cap, and free downloadable event photographs.
