Event overview
PFW Running - The Bog Trotter is a 10K trail race held on Sunday 29 November 2026 in Blackpool. Course and facilities
The course is a single 10K loop on trail paths through the country park, with a short section on pavement and an undulating profile. The route passes Marton Mere nature reserve, Herons Reach golf course and Blackpool Zoo, and offers views of Blackpool Tower and Stanley Park. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and post-race goodies. Provision on course and at the finish includes sweet and savoury snacks, water, cordial and coke.
Entry and transfer rules
Entry fees are listed as £23 for affiliated runners and £25 for unattached runners. Entries may be transferred to another runner or deferred up to one week prior to the event by contacting the organiser and providing the new runner’s details.
