Event Overview

The West Highland Way Race is a 96-mile ultra-marathon that follows the West Highland Way route. It starts at Milngavie Railway Station and finishes at the Nevis Centre in Fort William.

Course Details

The route includes 14,760 ft of ascent. Competitors must pass through designated checkpoints within specified time limits. A time limit of 35 hours applies for completing the race.

Participant Requirements

Entry requires adequate, relevant experience. Participants must have completed a minimum of a 65K trail race. All competitors must be 20 years or older on race day. A personal, motorized support team is mandatory for each participant.

Records and Bonus
