West Haven Community House 85th Anniversary Community Fun Walk
The event is a community walk on 09/13/2026 along West Haven’s boardwalk to mark the West Haven Community House 85th anniversary and to benefit the programs of WHCH. The route is a 2-mile course that runs along the boardwalk near 1 Palace St, West Haven, CT 06516.
Registration is open for the walk and carries a fee of $30. Every walker who registers before August 28 will be eligible to receive a commemorative T shirt. Registration opens on November 3, 2025 and closes on the day of the event.
On the day of the event, participants check in before the walk and receive T shirts, raffle tickets, and other giveaway items. A Zumba warm up is scheduled before the walk begins. Activity stations will be set up along the route; participants can use a walk passport at the stations to earn raffle tickets. At the completion of the walk, raffle tickets will be placed in baskets chosen by participants.
The event also includes prizes for Team and Individual Most Fundraised and for Team and Individual Best Costume or Most Spirited. Raffle baskets will be available and prepackaged snacks and drinks will be offered for purchase. Team pictures are taken during check in.
