Event overview
The Frosty Forest 5K takes place in Roosevelt Forest in the Town of Stratford, Connecticut on Saturday, December 13, 2025. The event is a trail run over a 5K distance. Participants may wear holiday costumes during the event.
Course and logistics
The course goes off road on forest trails. The organizer notes that a little trail experience is helpful; participants may run, jog, hike, or walk the route. Awards are given to the three fastest male and three fastest female finishers. All finishers receive a custom-designed commemorative finisher item. A portion of event proceeds will support the Veteran's Museum, the Stratford Library, and other local causes. The event uses paid volunteers to support entrants.
