About the race
Wesley Woods Trail Race takes place at Camp Wesley Woods in Townsend, beneath the Foothills Parkway. The event uses a 3-mile loop that begins on the camp gravel service road, follows a perimeter trail (about 1.7 miles counterclockwise) with double and some single track, and returns on the gravel road. One 3-mile loop gains roughly 500 feet of elevation. Multiple running events are offered using the 3-mile loop repeated as needed, plus a separate 3-mile hike and a 4-hour endurance option.
A water/aid station will be available at the Start/Finish area. The hike is a single lap; hikers may walk at their own pace or join local hiking guides announced closer to the event. All registered runners receive a camp shirt; the order cutoff is January 22. Proceeds from registration and shirt sales support Camp Wesley Woods ministries.
A camp store will be open to purchase previous Camp Wesley Woods shirts. Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers in each race event; no age-group awards are given. Registration windows and fees vary by event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
