Wem 10K 2026 is scheduled for 4 October 2026 in Wem. The event is based at Thomas Adams School, SY4 5UB. The organiser presents this as the seventh running of the Wem 10k Road Race.
Course and services
The organiser describes the course as fast paced and suitable for personal best attempts and beginners. The route is a closed-road course through the town centre and surrounding Shropshire countryside. The race will use professional chip timing, the route is officially measured, all finishers receive a bespoke medal, and free photo downloads are provided. A technical running shirt is available at additional cost.
Entry and fees
The organiser lists a limited early bird release of 100 tickets at £18, on sale from 6 October 2025. Standard entry prices are listed as: affiliated £21 and unaffiliated £23. Entry plus T shirt prices are listed as: affiliated £32 and unaffiliated £35. A £2 service fee applies. Complimentary elite entry is available for runners who have recorded sub-33 minutes (men) or sub-36 minutes (women) within the last 12 months; proof is required for that entry category.
