Severn Bridges 10k Road Race
The Severn Bridges 10k Road Race takes place on 6 September 2026 in Quarry Park, Shrewsbury SY1 1JA, a riverside location in the town centre. The course begins and ends in the park, follows a loop within the park, then goes out along the banks of the River Severn before returning across several bridges to the finish in the Quarry.
The event is open to all and is organised as a not for profit. Costs are underwritten by the Shropshire Shufflers and any surplus funds are donated to charity. This edition is partnered with West Mercia Search and Rescue, a charity that provides lowland search and rescue services across the region.
Key event information includes the following. The distance is 10 km. There is a water station on course at 6 km and water at the finish. All finishers receive a medal. Race numbers are collected on the day and a bag drop area is provided. There are no changing or showering facilities, so participants should arrive prepared to run. The race is affiliated to England Athletics pending licence confirmation. Entry capacity is 400 places and the event status is open. Entry fees range from £17 to £19 depending on category.
