Event overview
The Welsh 3000's Ultra Run is scheduled for 2 May 2026 in Snowdonia, North Wales. The course covers the Snowdon, Carneddau and Glyderau ranges and includes the traverse of Crib Goch. The route is described as approximately 30 miles (50 km) with about 4,000 m of total ascent. The event is led by trail runners who hold British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications. Transport to the start, a mountain guide and a support vehicle are included. Food stations will offer a selection of hot and cold items. The organiser notes the event is not a race and that participants are expected to have previous experience such as completing marathon distance.
