Welsh 3000's Ultra Run

This guided mountain run leads participants over the 15 Welsh 3,000 ft peaks in the heart of Snowdonia in North Wales. The route crosses the Snowdon, Carneddau and Glyderau ranges and includes the traverse of Crib Goch.

The Welsh 3,000s comprise 15 mountains above 3,000 ft, covering approximately 30 miles with about 4,000 m of total ascent. The itinerary lists Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), Crib y Ddysgl, Crib Goch, Elidir Fawr, Y Garn, Glyder Fawr, Glyder Fach, Tryfan, Pen yr Ole Wen, Carnedd Dafydd, Yr Elen, Carnedd Llewelyn, Foel Grach, Garnedd Uchaf and Foel-fras.

The event is run by highly experienced trail runners who hold British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications. The guided format includes transport to the start and from the finish, a mountain guide, on-route food replenishments including hot snacks, and a support vehicle. The price is £170 and the minimum age to participate is 18 or older.

This is not a race; it is presented as a continuous guided traverse of one of the classic high mountain routes in North Wales.
