Event overview

The Welsh 3000's Ultra Run is a guided mountain run on Saturday 2 May 2026 in Snowdonia, North Wales. The route visits the 15 Welsh 3,000 ft peaks across the Snowdon, Carneddau and Glyderau ranges and includes the traverse of Crib Goch. The route covers approximately 30 miles (50 km) with about 4,000 m of total ascent. The event is not a race and is run as a guided group activity.

Logistics and entry

Bookings open 4 July 2025 and close 24 April 2026. Minimum age is 18 on the event date. The booking fee listed is £170. The event includes transport to the start, a mountain guide, and a support vehicle. Guides hold British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications.
