Event overview

The Welsh 3000's Ultra Run takes place on Saturday 2 May 2026 in Snowdonia, North Wales. The route visits the 15 Welsh peaks over 3,000 ft and covers approximately 30 miles (50 km) with about 4,000 m of ascent. The course crosses the Snowdon range and the Carneddau and Glyderau ranges. Format and practical information

The event is led by experienced trail runners with British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications. Transport to the start, a mountain guide and a support vehicle are included. Food stations provide a selection of hot and cold items. Bookings are handled through SiEntries and require a user account. Bookings open 4 July 2025 and close 24 April 2026. Entry fee is £170.
