Caernarfon 5k
The event is a 5k Race for Life held on Sunday 3 May 2026 at Parc Coed Helen in Caernarfon. Listed entry prices are £15.99 and £11.00 for children. A minimum fundraising target of £50.00 is stated.
The course is a flat, 2.5 km out and back route along the Menai Strait with views of Anglesey and the mountains of Eryri. The first and last 150 m are on grass, and ground conditions are described as generally good all year round. The start and finish are located in Parc Coed Helen. There is no general vehicle access to the event site; directional signs will direct attendees to town centre car parks and the recommended drop off point is Slate Quay car park, about a 300 m walk to the start. Blue badge holders can park on site after showing their badge to stewards. There are no bus or train services to the event site and no electric charging points or bike racks listed.
Facilities on site include refreshments, toilets, permission for dogs, suitability for pushchairs, and wheelchair access. Bag drop and showers are not available. Accessibility measures include sunflower wristbands, Event Managers trained as Dementia Friends, and a QR code for British Sign Language stage content.
