Wellington 10K
The Wellington 10K is a measured 10 km race in Wellington, Shropshire, sponsored by Q Financial. The course is a fast paced out and back route that passes through Dothill Nature Reserve, Silkin Way and Wrockwardine. The route has been officially measured by hand to the centimetre using a measuring wheel.
Registration, the start line and the finish line are all at Dothill Playing Field. Water stations are provided along the route. A new bespoke medal is produced each year and technical running T shirts are available at an additional charge.
The event sets a minimum age of 14. Dogs and prams are not permitted on the course because parts of the route use narrow paths. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
