Weimar Rotary Club Gedenke 5K
The Weimar Rotary Club Gedenke 5K takes place in Weimar, Texas. The event features a 5 km run that starts and ends at the Weimar Soccer Fields. The course route leads participants through the Hill Memorial Golf Course. This is a family-friendly event where individuals are encouraged to participate together.
The event utilizes the Jaguar RFID timing system provided by Run Texas Timing Services. Chip timing is used for the 5 km run, and participants can access live results via a mobile app or on a TV monitor near the timing tent. Finisher certificates are emailed to participants after the race.

The course is open to strollers, though participants with strollers are asked to position themselves at the back of the starting group. Pets are not permitted on the course, with specific exceptions for certified service animals. Registered participants receive a race shirt with the event logo and a swag bag. Adult participants with proper identification receive a beverage cup after the race. Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as the top three finishers in various age categories ranging from 14 and under to 70 and over.
