The Sausagefest 5K takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Schulenburg, Texas.
Location and Course
The starting line is at the intersection of S. Main and Upton Ave. The race begins and ends just outside Prime Products at 601 S. Main St. The route winds through town. A water station is located at the race's midpoint.
Registration and Entry Fees
Online registration is available. The entry fee for the adult 5K (age 20 and above) is $35. The youth fee (age 19 and under) is $25. Race day registration incurs an additional $5 fee. Participants must register by March 27, 2026, to be guaranteed a race shirt.
Awards
Awards are presented after the race. Overall male and female winners receive a medal and gift basket. The top three male and female finishers in the following age groups also receive a medal: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
