Magnolia Days Festival 5K
The Magnolia Days 5K and Kids' Mile take place as part of the Magnolia Days Festival in Columbus, Texas. The event starts and finishes at Hound Song Brewing, 535 Walnut St, and the route runs through the neighborhood adjacent to downtown. The 5K is mostly flat and very shaded by large oak trees. There is one water stop around the halfway point. The Kids' Mile is a straight out-and-back course.
Event services and amenities include chip timing, well marked and supported course, free race photos posted online after the race, food available for purchase from the Hound Song Kitchen, and a stroller friendly course. Adult runners who present proper ID receive a glass of Hound Song craft beer and a performance fabric event t-shirt. Kids receive a cotton youth-sized shirt and minors or those not selecting beer receive a nonalcoholic beverage.
Packet pickup is handled at Hound Song Brewing on the Friday before the race and on race morning at the brewery. Parking is described as plentiful, safe, and legal near the brewery and downtown. Awards are given to top overall male and female, top overall master (40 and up), and the top three male and female in standard age groups.

Pricing notes include 5K registration at $45 through April 16 and $50 after, and Kids' Mile registration at $20 through April 16 and $25 after.
