Weekend 5K and Kids 1K Series
The Weekend 5K and Kids 1K Series takes place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Dominion Arboretum in Ottawa. The event includes short-distance races for children, youth and adults, a charity partner and listed sponsors.

Pricing and registration details indicate the 5K is $10 plus applicable fees and HST for advance registration; race-day fee is $15 plus fees and HST. 2026 Run Ottawa Members register for free. The Kids 1K and 5K Youth categories are free.
Charity partner: OCISO (Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization). OCISO supports immigrants by offering creative, responsive programs that are culturally and linguistically appropriate, and by helping build community and inclusive spaces for dialogue and healing.
Access and parking information notes free parking near the Tropical Greenhouse off Maple Drive, about a ten-minute walk from the start area, and paid parking at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum lot (901 Prince of Wales Dr). The Dominion Arboretum is a short walk from the Carling O-train station.
