Weekend 5K and Kids 1K Series
The Weekend 5K and Kids 1K Series is a multi-event series scheduled for 2026, with two specific dates announced.
The race distances offered are a 5K and a Kids 1K.
- Kids 1K: For participants aged 0 to 12.
- 5K: A Youth category for ages 18 and under, and an Adult category.
The first two events of the year will take place on the following dates and locations:
- Sunday, April 26 at Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa).
- Saturday, August 8 at Dominion Arboretum.
For the August 8 event, free parking is available near the Tropical Greenhouse off Maple Drive. Paid parking is also available at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum lot. The Dominion Arboretum is a short walk from the Carling O-Train station.
Pricing is as follows:
- Kids 1K: Free.
- Youth 5K: Free.
- Adult 5K: $10 CAD + applicable fees + HST in advance, or $15 CAD + applicable fees + HST on race day.
- 2026 Run Ottawa Members register for free.
