The Weehawken 5K Walk/Run for Food Justice is an inaugural community race on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Weehawken, NJ. The event will use the waterfront path near Weehawken Field at 1 Port Imperial Blvd. Proceeds support Food Justice for All programs: 100% of funds raised will go to the PERC shelter in Union City, NJ and to community education about food insecurity. Race programs include an educational component on plant-based meals and methods for feeding large groups.

Registration/check-in will take place at Weehawken Field, and race day programming includes staging for faster 5K runners (for those who can run in 30 minutes or less). Planned post-race activities include awards, food demonstrations, prizes, music, and children’s activities such as face painting and food-justice art activities. No strollers or pets are allowed.
