The course uses three neighboring parks: Webster Park, Whiting Road Nature Preserve, and Gosnell Big Woods Preserve. Runners will encounter open fields, wooded single track, bridges, varied elevation, old growth forest sections, meadow trails, and a loop around the Big Field. The 3.5 mile route stays entirely within Webster Park on a route similar to the park portion of the 10 miler. The kids fun run begins and ends at the same location and is about 1 mile long; anyone under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be water available at the start/finish area and one cup-free aid station roughly at the midpoint in the Big Field section of Gosnell Big Woods Preserve; participants should plan to carry a bottle if they intend to refill on course. This event is pre-registration only; registration opens Jan 1, 2026, closes one week before the race, has a hard cap, and there is no day-of registration. The 10 mile course is described as approximate - the route will be between 9 and 11 miles; the shorter route is between about 3.1 and 4 miles.
