Course
The event takes place at the Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp in Rush, New York. The racecourse is a 1-mile loop. The loop is mostly paved with about 150 yards of smooth, wide trail surface. The first half of the loop goes gradually downhill, and the second half goes gradually uphill.
Race Format
For the 12-hour and 24-hour individual events, participants run as many laps as they can within the time limit. Completing one full lap qualifies for an official finish; there is no minimum time requirement or DNF for stopping early. Participants can walk, rest, or nap during their time. A fully stocked aid station is available on the course. Participants are also welcome to bring their own supplies and set up a personal aid station.
For the relay events, teams must have between two and four members. Teams receive a bib belt that serves as the relay baton. Teams decide their own running order and rotation strategy, with no minimum distance or time requirements per member. The 12-hour relay is an overnight event.
