Jungle Jog 5k
Jungle Jog is a community running event based in Seneca Park in Rochester, NY, that routes participants through Seneca Park Zoo. The event offers in-person and virtual options, a guided warm-up, an animal ambassador meet and greet, and a Kid's Fun Run for children 10 and younger. Participants receive a themed dry-wick t-shirt and may choose to add a race medal; the race bib also serves as a free day-pass for Seneca Park Zoo.
The event supports elephant conservation through fundraising for the International Elephant Foundation. The 2026 featured animal is the African elephant, and the organizer states a goal of reaching $100,000 in lifetime gifts to IEF. The race is presented as part of a broader series and includes post-race awards.
