About the race
Jungle Jog 5K is a community running and walking event that begins and ends in Seneca Park and includes a route through Seneca Park Zoo. The event offers in-person and virtual options, a guided warm up at the starting area, an animal ambassador meet and greet, and awards at the end of the race. Distances and formats include: - 5K in-person and virtual - 5 miles virtual option listed - Kids Fun Run for children 10 and younger Registration details list early bird registration from April 20 through July 4. Entry options include a race shirt with an optional race medal; fees for shirt plus medal and shirt only options are shown in the event listing.
The Kid's Fun Run has no entry fee and each child receives a Fun Run medal. Packet pickup is available on Thursday, July 16 at Seneca Park Zoo and on Saturday, July 18 at Medved Running and Walking; the race packet includes the bib and any giveaways included with registration. The event is organized as a cupless race with a refill station half way through the 3 mile route and an additional refill at the finish line. Seneca Park parking lots are available but limited and Premier Parking staff will assist participants.
