Jungle Jog 5k

Jungle Jog 5k is a community running event that begins in Seneca Park and passes through Seneca Park Zoo before returning to the park. The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes a short Kids Fun Run for children 10 years and younger.

Registration is open seasonally with an early-bird period from April 20 through July 4. Fee options include registrations that come with a themed dry-wick t-shirt and an optional race medal; a free entry is available for the Kids Fun Run. Packet pickup is scheduled at the zoo and at a local running store on dates shortly before the event.

Event features include a guided warm-up session, animal ambassador meet and greet, and a recovery tent. The event is run as a cupless race; participants are asked to bring a personal water bottle and a refill station is available midway on the route and at the finish area. Race bibs serve as a free day pass to visit Seneca Park Zoo on the event date.
