2026 Winter Weavers' Way Ultras

The Winter Weavers' Way Ultras take place on 14 November 2026. Boghopper Races launched in 2023 with the inaugural Weavers' Way Ultras. For 2026 the event offers two trail distances and changes to checkpoints for the 50 km while adding a 100 km option that follows the full length of the Weavers' Way.

Distances

  • 50 km route from Stalham to Cromer Pier
  • 100 km route from Great Yarmouth along the Weavers' Way

The 100 km route starts at Broadland - Great Yarmouth Rugby Club and runs alongside Breydon Water before crossing Halvergate marshes to Acle, then follows the River Bure to Hickling and joins the 50 km route at Stalham. The 50 km route runs via North Walsham and passes Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall, with a long downhill section to the finish at Cromer Pier.

Time limits for completion are 19 hours for the 100 km race and 10 hours for the 50 km race. Checkpoints include The Pavilion at QE II playing field (Halvergate), Acle Bridge, Potter Heigham riverbank, Poppy Centre (Stalham), St Nicholas Rooms (North Walsham), Silvergate layby, Erpingham Village Hall and Hanworth Village Hall.

The route passes villages, towns, stately homes, riverside sections, meadows and a seaside finish at Cromer Pier. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
