Flying 5k - Scottow Enterprise Park
The event is a fast, flat 5k held away from public roads at the former RAF Coltishall airbase, with low traffic and no course cut-off. The course is suitable for wheelchair users and all finishers receive a medal. Timing is provided by Total Race Timing. The race is organised under UK Athletics rules, UK Licence Permit No. 31336.

- 5k senior race, minimum age 11
- 2k childrens race, minimum age 5
- Couch to 5k option available
Entry fees listed by the organiser include £16 for affiliated senior entries and £18 for unaffiliated senior entries, childrens entry £5, and a Couch to 5k option priced at £25. Entries are non-refundable and cannot be deferred. Transfers to another runner are permitted until midnight on 13/07/2026.
On-site facilities include plentiful parking, disabled parking and toilet facilities at the race headquarters. Prizes are awarded across multiple male and female age categories, including wheelchair athlete awards and team prizes for senior and veteran teams (three to score). Winners of overall prizes are not eligible to also receive age-group prizes.
Headphones and earbuds are not permitted during the race due to possible vehicle presence and the need to hear marshal instructions; wearing headphones during the race will result in disqualification. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
