Weatherford Turkey Trot
The Weatherford Turkey Trot takes place on November 26, 2026 in Weatherford, Texas. The event is hosted by the Young Business Leaders of Weatherford and is held on York Avenue with portions of the 5K course running through the Parker County Historic District. It includes a timed 5K and a 1K kids' run.
The 5K has a 1 hour 30 minute time limit and will wind through the Parker County Historic District. Participants must wear their race bib to receive an official finisher medal. A course map is noted as coming soon.
The Kids 1K is on York Avenue, is open to children ages 12 and under, and has a 30 minute time limit. Parents who are participating in the 5K may join their children for the Kids 1K. A bib is required for the finisher medal.
Registration fees are listed per event. Registered participants receive an official Turkey Trot race T-shirt. Finisher medals are limited to the first 650 registrants. A portion of event proceeds will be donated to Center of Hope in Weatherford, and participants may bring an unwrapped toy for the Center of Hope Christmas toy drive.
