Weatherford Turkey Trot
The Weatherford Turkey Trot takes place on 11/26/2026 in Downtown Weatherford, Texas. The event is hosted by the Young Business Leaders of Weatherford and is organized as a community running event that supports a local charity.
Distances
- 5K - course through Parker County Historic District; 1 hour 30 minute time limit.
- 1K (Kids) - open to children 12 and under; 30-minute time limit; parents may join.
The 5K winds through the Parker County Historic District. The Kids 1K is designed for children ages 12 and under; parents who are registered for the 5K may accompany their children in the 1K. A race bib is required to receive an official finisher medal. Finisher medals are available for the first 650 registrants. An official Turkey Trot race T-shirt is included with registration.
Registration fees listed for the events are $35.00 for the 5K and $30.00 for the Kids 1K. A course map has not yet been published and is described as coming soon.
Part of the event proceeds will be donated to Center of Hope in Weatherford. Participants may also bring an unwrapped toy for Center of Hope’s Christmas toy drive to support local youth during the holiday season. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
