Lone Star Night Run
The Lone Star Night Run on September 12, 2026 is a nighttime running event at the Weatherford Trailhead for Lake Mineral Wells State Park Trailway in Weatherford, TX. Distances offered include:

- 10K Ruck
The course is an out and back route on an open trail surfaced with soft fine gravel. Elevation is described as relatively flat with a slight incline outbound and a downhill return to the finish. The event listing notes typical September nighttime temperatures around 67 to 89 degrees.
Participants must carry a water system; a 32 oz container is suggested and the race is cupless. A headlamp or other light is required for all distances. Aid stations include a main tent at mile 0 and the finish offering water, pickle juice, electrolytes and bananas, plus hydration stations around miles 3 and 10 and miles 5 and 8 offering water and electrolytes.
The 10K ruck has weight requirements: 30 lb for participants over 150 lb and 20 lb for those under 150 lb; ruck sacks or vests are allowed. Parking at the start/finish is first come, first served with overflow at Cartwright Park Soccer Fields, and a shuttle will transport participants between parking and the start.
