Lone Star Night Run
The Lone Star Night Run is held on the Lake Mineral Wells State Park Trailway at the Weatherford Trailhead in the foothills of North Texas. The event uses an out and back course that begins and ends at the Weatherford Trailhead on an open, paved trail surfaced with soft fine gravel. Elevation is relatively flat with a slight incline out and downhill to the finish.

Headlamps or lights are required for all distances. This is a cupless event; participants must carry a water system and a 32 oz recommendation is listed. Aid and service points include a main tent at mile 0 and the finish offering water, pickle juice, electrolytes and bananas, plus hydration stations at miles 3 and 10 and at miles 5 and 8 providing water and electrolytes.
Parking at the start and finish is first come, first served with overflow parking at Cartwright Park Soccer Fields. A shuttle will transport participants to the start line and back from the finish. Ruck entrants must meet weight requirements based on body weight and may use a ruck sack or vest. Event awards include a tri blend T shirt for all distances, a finisher medal, first place awards for male and female finishers, and a DFL award for the half marathon.
