Lone Star Night Run
The Lone Star Night Run takes place on September 12, 2026 at the Weatherford Trailhead on Lake Mineral Wells State Park Trailway near Weatherford, TX. The event uses an open out and back course on a flat, open trail with a surface of soft fine gravel and a slight incline out and downhill to the finish.

Headlamps or lights are required for all distances. This is a cupless event; participants must carry a water system and a 32 oz recommendation is provided. Aid stations include a main tent at mile 0 and the finish offering water, pickle juice, electrolytes and bananas, plus hydration stations at miles 3 and 10 and at miles 5 and 8 supplying water and electrolytes.
Ruck rules specify weight by bodyweight: over 150 lbs requires a 30 lb ruck; under 150 lbs requires a 20 lb ruck. Ruck sacks or vests are permitted. Parking at the start/finish is first come first serve with overflow parking at Cartwright Park Soccer Fields; a shuttle will transport participants to the start and back at finish. Participants who drop early must notify the race director at the start or finish.
Awards include a tri blend T shirt for all distances, a finisher medal collectible, first place awards for male and female in each distance, and a Dead Freakin Last award for the half marathon.
