The Frosty 5k is a holiday-themed 5K Run/Walk held in Mineral Wells at Zappe Park, 200 NW 1st Ave. The event follows a downtown route that passes through neighborhoods with rolling hills and historic homes. Parking is available on site.
Race amenities include an event T-shirt, finisher medals, food and drinks, and a post-event Crazy Water hot cocoa offering. Hydration support is provided with water at the start/finish area and one aid station on the course. A post-event party takes place at the venue.
Race packet pick up is available on race day at The Outfitters of Palo Pinto County, 200 West Hubbard Street, Suite 100, Mineral Wells. Registration opens July 1, 2026, and closes on the day of the event; the listed registration fee is $35.
Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted; participants using either are asked to begin at the back of the start corral and to observe local leash laws. Volunteers are requested to assist at aid stations, on course directions, and with post-race services; community service hours can be accommodated.
