We Love Leeds Spirit Sprint 5K Glow Run
The We Love Leeds Spirit Sprint is a community 5K glow run held on September 12, 2026, in Historic Downtown Leeds at 8393 1st Avenue, Leeds, AL 35094. The event is presented as the second annual Spirit Sprint and features a glow in the dark theme along the downtown streets.
The running distance is a 5K (3.1 miles) and the race will be chip timed. Event management is provided by Fleet Feet. Awards include overall male and female winners and 1st through 3rd place medals in the following age groups: 0–9, 10–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60 plus.
Event day activities listed by the organizer include local vendors, food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, and live music, along with community cheering for the Greenwave. Race day packet pickup will be available near the starting line in downtown Leeds.
