About the race
The second annual We Love Leeds Spirit Sprint 5K Glow Run takes place on September 12, 2026 in Historic Downtown Leeds, at 8104 Parkway Drive, Leeds, AL 35094, United States. The event presents a community-oriented evening run with a glow theme.
The race is chip-timed and professionally managed by Trak Shak. Overall winners will receive special awards, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals will be given in the following age groups: 0-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50+. An awards ceremony follows the race.
Organizers list several community activities before the race, including local vendors, food trucks, bounce houses, face painting and live music, along with on-course cheering for the Greenwave. Participants are encouraged to wear Leeds green.
Registration details: registration opens July 7, 2026, and closes September 12, 2026. The registration fee is $35.00. Registrants who register by August 31 are guaranteed an official We Love Leeds Spirit Sprint race shirt. Race day packet pickup is available near the starting line.
