9/11 Tribute Run - Trussville
The 9/11 Tribute Run in Trussville is a free community group run held at the Veterans Memorial at 55 Parkway Dr, Trussville, AL. The event offers both 5K and 10K routes and observes the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Participants are invited to wear patriotic attire.
The gathering begins with a five minute devotional and a short prayer, and taps will be played before the group start. The course is marked with arrows for guidance and there will be a water station along the route. A clock will be provided for reference, but there is no official timer for the event.
Parking is available across the street at Church of the Holy Cross, 90 Parkway Dr, Trussville, AL 35173. The run is organized by the Trecho Walk Jog Run Club. Registration is free and optional and helps with planning; there is no requirement to register before the day of the event.
