We ALL Scream for ICE CREAM 5K - Newark, DE
The We ALL Scream for ICE CREAM 5K takes place on June 2, 2026, at Olan Thomas Park, 89 Paper Mill Road, Newark, DE 19711. The event is a single 5K distance held in Newark with on-site amenities and participant services.
Runners receive ice cream from Woodside Ice Cream Farm and a choice of a T-shirt or a women's tank top. A custom bib is available for participants who register before May 1st and request a name on the bib. Bib pick up is held on race day at Olan Thomas Park from 5:30pm to 6:15pm.
Awards include overall male and female, overall masters male and female, and top three in each age group for male and female competitors. Age groups are 9 and under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Overall and masters awards are based on gun time; age-group awards are based on chip time.
Parking is suggested in the lot behind Timothy's of Newark at 100 Creek View Rd, Newark, DE 19711, with a short walk to Olan Thomas Park. A course map is provided for directional purposes only.
