The event includes a community food drive. Participants and community members are asked to bring canned goods or other nonperishable items; collected items will be delivered to Kennett Area Community Services, an organization that supports people facing homelessness and poverty in Chester County.
Registration details provided by the organizer list a registration fee of $35.00 for the 5K and $25.00 for the 1 Mile walk. Registration opens October 6 and closes November 7. Registrants who complete registration before November 1 will receive a free race t-shirt.
