Wayside Youth & Family Support Network 5K4Kids
This event takes place on October 24, 2026, at Dunning Elementary School in Framingham, Massachusetts. The gathering combines a community 5K race with a family fair held on school grounds.
The run uses a USATF certified 5K course. The family fair is free and includes a family fun run, refreshments, and a range of activities such as the Framingham Library Book Mobile, Touch a Truck, food trucks, face painting, airbrush tattoos, a balloon clown, a bouncy house, lawn games, and other activities for children and families.
There is a registration fee of $35. A raffle drawing will feature two $1,000 Visa gift cards and three $500 Visa gift cards; raffle tickets are available the morning of the event. Donations, registration fees, and raffle ticket sales support Wayside programs that provide emergency food and clothing, diapers and formula, school supplies, holiday gifts, hot meals, and winter coats, hats, and gloves for young people in need.
Attendees are asked to leave pets at home; service dogs are permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
