Holiday Half & Relay : Charles River Reservation, Marsh Post, Cambridge
The event on Dec 12, 2026 takes place at the DCR Charles River Reservation, starting and finishing at the Marsh Post in Cambridge, MA. The course is a paved loop measured at 2.62 miles. Runners complete repeated laps to cover the half marathon distance.

Race entries include event swag and post-race refreshments: half marathon entries include a finisher’s medal and a winter hat; relay entries include a winter hat for each team member. The after-party offers beer from Mighty Squirrel and pizza. Field sizes are limited: the half marathon is capped at 200 runners and the relay at 30 teams. Entry fees vary by registration date, with higher fees closer to the event day.
Course amenities include portable toilets near the start/finish and along the path, two BODYARMOR hydration stations providing sports drink and water, and a self-serve bring-your-own-bottle table near the start with instructions for labeling and limits on bottles. Relay registration is handled by a team captain who submits roster and lap assignments; each team member must check in, sign a waiver, and pick up a bib at the event.
