Event overview
The Waverly Winter Warrior is scheduled for January 4 to January 10, 2026, at Waverly Park in Louisville, KY. The event offers in-person and virtual options and is part of the Winter Warrior Trail Series. Awards will be given for Overall Male and Overall Female. Completing three of the four series races qualifies a participant for the Winter Warrior medal and shirt.

Course and logistics
The start and finish are located near the Playground Parking Lot. The trail course proceeds toward the lake, enters the trail near the dog park, and follows the right-most trail options for most of the route. Trails included are the Twisting Bends, Clinic Loop, and Fresh Air Loops. The total loop distance is described as between 6 and 6.5 miles.
The event is cupless; participants must bring their own water bottle, hydration pack, or cup. An aid station will be available about halfway through the course. On-site restrooms are located near the start line. Packet pick-up and limited race-day shirt sales will be available at the Playground Parking Lot. Early registered participants may receive a limited early-registration gift for the first 75 registrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
