Bourbon Country 25k/50k/5k
The event on March 28, 2026, takes place at the Harry S. Frazier Scout Reservation in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. It offers three separate races with the following distances:
- 25k: one lap of the course
- 50k: two laps of the course
- 5k: 3.1 miles on trail terrain
The 25k and 50k use a 15.7 mile loop that features over 2,300 feet of elevation gain per loop. The 50k consists of two laps of that same loop. The 5k is held on trail and is described as a trail challenge rather than a typical short road 5k.
Course support includes three water stations and two light aid stations offering snacks. All 5k, 25k and 50k participants receive a race shirt and a finisher's medal. Awards are presented to the top two overall male and female finishers in each race.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Ken Combs Running Store and on race day at the Harry S. Frazier Scout Reservation. There is a nine hour event cutoff time applied to all distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
