Event Overview
The Derby City 10K takes place in downtown Louisville and serves as the second leg of the Louisville Triple Crown of Running. This event features multiple participation options for runners of various interests.

The course traverses several iconic city landmarks. Participants pass the Kentucky Opera, Jefferson Square Park, the Louisville Slugger Museum, historic Whiskey Row, and Lynn Family Stadium. The route concludes with a finish at Louisville Slugger Field.
Participant Benefits
Registration for the event includes an exclusive wearable swag item, a race bib, and a finisher's medal. The course is fully supported with aid stations. Following the race, there is a celebration outside Louisville Slugger Field featuring donuts and a local craft brewery beverage for participants aged 21 and over. Finisher photos are also provided.
Series and Charity
The race is part of a three-event series that has been a local tradition for over 40 years. Runners can participate in the Crown Jewel series, which combines the marquee distances of each race, or the Coronet series, which features shorter distances. The event supports the WHAS Crusade for Children, a charity dedicated to assisting children with special needs in the Louisville area.
