Event overview
The Derby City 10K takes place in Louisville, KY on March 21, 2026. It is the second leg of the Louisville Triple Crown of Running, presented by the Courier Journal. The downtown course passes the Kentucky Opera, Jefferson Square Park, the Louisville Slugger Museum, historic Whiskey Row, and Lynn Family Stadium, and finishes at Louisville Slugger Field.
Race details and included items
The in-person event includes a finisher’s medal, race bib, exclusive wearable swag item, and finisher photos. The course is fully supported with premium aid stations. A post-race party will be held outside Louisville Slugger Field and includes fresh donuts from Jeff’s Donuts and one complimentary Against The Grain beer for participants 21 and older.

The Derby City 10K is part of a three-race series with the Whiskey Row 5K and the Louisville 10 Mile. A bundle registration for all three events offers a $5 per-event discount and awards a Triple Crown finisher medal upon series completion.
