Watersons HALE 10K & Ashley Hall 3K
The Watersons HALE event in February 2027 includes a certified 10 km race and a separate 3 km race in the grounds of Ashley Hall. The event is planned as a fully closed road race with an expected field of 2,000 runners.
The 10 km course starts in Hale, passes through the village centre, continues along country lanes to Ashley, and finishes in the grounds of Ashley Hall. The Ashley Hall 3 km takes place on the same site and is described as a race for younger runners or those preferring a shorter distance; it is run on traffic free routes within the estate.
Parking is available at Ashley Hall; the car park is about 1 km from the 10K start. Roads on the route will be closed for the duration of the event and reopened after the last runner has cleared each sector.
Proceeds from the event go to the official charity partner The Toy Appeal. The Toy Appeal provides sacks of toys at Christmas for children aged 0 to 17 living in poverty and has operated since 2013.
