Watersons HALE 10K and Ashley Hall 3K

The Watersons HALE 10K is scheduled for Sunday 14 February 2027 and uses fully closed roads with an expected field of 2,000 runners. The event features a certified 10 km road course that begins in Hale, passes through the village centre, continues to Ashley along country lanes, and finishes in the grounds of Ashley Hall.

There is also a separate Ashley Hall 3K held in the grounds of Ashley Hall for younger runners or those preferring a shorter distance. Both races are held on closed roads and road sections will be reopened once the last runners have cleared each sector.

Practical details include parking at Ashley Hall; the car park is about 1 km from the 10K start and parking is charged on the day or at a reduced advance rate. Proceeds from the event support The Toy Appeal, a charity that provides a sack of toys at Christmas to children aged 0 to 17 living in poverty. The Toy Appeal has operated since 2013 and distributes toys across the North West of England.
