Event overview
The Watersons HALE 10K is scheduled for Sunday 15 February 2026 as a fully closed-road event in Hale, Bowdon and Ashley. The 2026 edition is the fifth running of the race. The organiser expects over 1,500 runners and the event has sold out in advance for the previous two years. Two race distances are held on the day:

- 3K
Course and logistics
The 10K course begins in Hale, passes through the centre of the village, runs out to Ashley along country lanes, and finishes in the grounds of Ashley Hall. The Ashley Hall 3K takes place within the grounds of Ashley Hall. The 10K start is located on South Downs Road, Hale, WA14 3HR, and the 3K start is at Ashley Hall, Ashley Road, Ashley, WA14 3QA. Parking is available at Ashley Hall; the car park is about 1 km from the 10K start and is charged at £5 on the day or £3 in advance. Road closures are used for the races and will be lifted after runners have cleared each sector.
Charity
Proceeds from the event support The Toy Appeal, which provides a sack of toys at Christmas to children aged 0–17 living in poverty. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
