Watersons HALE 10K and Ashley Hall 3K
The Watersons HALE 10K and Ashley Hall 3K take place on Sunday 14 February 2027. The event uses fully closed roads through Hale, Bowdon and Ashley and involves 2,000 runners.
The certified 10 km course begins in Hale, passes through the village centre, continues out to Ashley along country lanes, and finishes in the grounds of Ashley Hall. The Ashley Hall 3K is held within the grounds of Ashley Hall for younger runners or those preferring a shorter distance; this race is also closed to traffic.
Parking is available at Ashley Hall; the car park is about 1 km from the 10K start. Parking is priced at £5 on the day or £3 in advance.
Proceeds from the event support The Toy Appeal. The Toy Appeal provides a sack of toys at Christmas to children aged 0 to 17 who are living in poverty and has been operating since 2013. The event is organised by Sensation Group.
