Watershed 5K

The Watershed 5K is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Fairbanks, Alaska. The event starts and finishes at The Watershed School, located at 4975 Decathlon Avenue (off Broadmoor Avenue, near the airport). The course runs through the neighborhood and on the trails around the school. Participants are asked to use the school parking lot.

Purpose and event details

Proceeds benefit the Watershed School PTSA to support school programs, including library books used for Battle of the Books, the All-School Ski Day, and teacher appreciation events. A downloadable PDF course map is provided. The same day includes an All You Can Eat sourdough pancake and sausage fundraiser for 3rd and 4th grade; the event page lists prices of $8 for adults and $6 for children, with a $1 discount for runners who show bibs.
