About the race
The Watchtree Half Marathon takes place on 15 November 2026 at Watchtree Nature Reserve and the surrounding countryside. The route uses quiet, undulating country lanes and features gentle inclines rather than steep climbs. The course will be well marshalled and includes water stations along the route. Runners must be 17 or older to enter.
Headphones are not permitted for safety reasons and dogs are not allowed on the run. All finishers receive a finisher's medal. Runners who have completed the Watchtree 5K and 10K in the same year are eligible for a commemorative medal hanger. Watchtree offers family-friendly facilities on the day, including bikes, karts, nature walks, orienteering and a café.
Participants will receive a pre-event email within the week before the event. Ticket prices are listed as £30 for non-members and £24 for members, with a 20% membership discount referenced. Refunds are only granted if a waitlisted participant takes the place. Cancellations cannot be processed after 6 November 2026.
If the event is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered options including a rescheduled date, deferral to next year, donation of the entry fee, or a refund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
