Event details
The Brampton Trail Run takes place in Brampton, Cumbria on 4 January 2026. The race distance is 7 Kilometres on a trail course. The event is organised by Fellside Events Ltd. It is licensed by the Trail Running Association and is held under UK Athletics rules (TRA permit 7803). Entry is limited to 250 participants. The organiser states an age limit of 16 years or older on race day. All finishers receive a medal and free event photographs will be available to download. Entrants are asked to provide an emergency contact name and number.
Course and facilities
The route is mostly off road, undulating, and may be muddy; the organiser suggests wearing trail shoes. The course is a single lap and is not suitable for wheelchairs. Race headquarters is at The Sands, Brampton, CA8 1EH. On-site facilities include water stations, toilets, and a baggage store. There are no distance markers, no changing facilities, and no showers. A mobile coffee van will be on site selling hot and cold drinks and cakes.
