Event overview
The Brampton Trail Run is a short trail race held in Brampton, Cumbria on 4 January 2026. The race is organised by Fellside Events Ltd. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and free event photographs will be available to download. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association (TRA permit 7803) and held under UK Athletics rules. Participants must be aged 16 or older on race day.

The course is a single-lap, 7 km trail route on the edge of Brampton. The profile is undulating and mostly off road; the surface may be muddy and the organiser suggests wearing trail shoes. Race HQ is at The Sands, Brampton, CA8 1EH.
Facilities listed for the event include water stations, toilets and a baggage store. There are no distance markers, no changing facilities and no showers. A mobile coffee van will be on site offering hot and cold drinks and cakes.
Entry is limited to 250 places, with 164 places remaining at the time of the listing. Entry fees shown are Affiliated £17.50 and Unaffiliated £19.50; entry on the day is noted as available for an additional £2.50 if the event has not sold out.
