DH River Run, Carlisle : 25 October 2026
The DH River Run is a 10k out and back run along the river path from Denton Holme towards Dalston. The course includes one water station. The start and finish are located on Denton Street between Holme Head House and the junction with North Street.
Parking is at Rome Street Car Park CA2 5LE. Registration, toilets, prize presentation and refreshments are at Denton Holme WMCC, 1 Morley Street CA2 5HQ. Registration opens at 8:30 and closes at 9:30, with a race briefing in the start area at 9:50.
Entry fees are listed as £21 unaffiliated and £19 affiliated. The event is open to anyone aged 16 and over and has 230 places. One pound from each entry will be donated to the Well Communities Charity. Refunds of 50 percent plus an admin fee are available until Sunday 11 October; there are no refunds after that date. Entries are non transferrable and running under another person’s name may lead to disqualification.
Prizes are awarded for first, second and third male and female, and for first male and female in under 18, V40, V50, V60 and V70 categories. A post race buffet will be provided. Event photos will be taken by Fellside Photography and made available for free after the event. Live results will be published via Timing Up North results.
