DH River Run, Carlisle
DH River Run is a 10 km road race held on 25 October 2026 in Carlisle, Great Britain. The course is an out and back along the river path from Denton Holme towards Dalston. The start and finish are on Denton Street between Holme Head House and the junction with North Street. There is one water station on the route.
Parking is provided at Rome Street Car Park CA2 5LE. Registration, toilets, prize presentation and refreshments are at Denton Holme WMCC, 1 Morley Street CA2 5HQ. A post race buffet will be available. Event photos will be taken by Fellside Photography and will be available for free after the event. Live results are provided by the event timing service.
Entries are open to anyone aged 16 and over. There are 230 places. Entry fees are £21 for unaffiliated runners and £19 for affiliated runners, with £1 from each entry donated to the Well Communities Charity. The organiser offers refunds of 50% plus an admin fee until Sunday 11 October; no refunds are available after that date. Entries are non-transferrable and running under another person’s name will result in disqualification.
Prizes are awarded for first, second and third male and female overall, and for first male and female under 18 and in veteran categories V40, V50, V60 and V70. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
