The Washington Street Church of God Annual Family Fun Walk/Run & Health Fair is a community event held in September 2026 in Gary, Indiana, at Marquette Park (1 N Grand Blvd, Area 5). Registration for most events opens January 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM CST. Entry fees listed include a $0 community participation option and paid race entries. Children of all ages are welcome; supervised child activities such as outdoor games, balloon expressions, and face painting are provided at no cost. A light breakfast and brunch are provided at no cost. Race day registrants may have their T-shirt and medal mailed about two weeks after the event and will not receive an on-site goodie bag. No refunds; a substitute may be sent.
