Washed Clean, Genesis Church
Washed Clean is a trail event on April 3, 2027 at Genesis Church in York, Pennsylvania. The event offers three separate courses that use the church property and finish with a foam finish.
- 3.1 miles 5K Run
- 1 mile Walk
- 440 yards Kids Fun Run
The course runs on trails around the church grounds and has approximately 56 feet of elevation gain. Strollers are welcome but the trail may be bumpy. Dogs are not recommended. Packet pickup is available on race day and there is a group stretching session before the start.
The event is organized as a final project for a STEAM homeschool co-op Health and Fitness class for grades 7 to 12. Proceeds are split between Genesis STEAM homeschool co-op and Katallasso Family Health Center, with 25 percent to the co-op and 75 percent to Katallasso. Katallasso is described as a faith based nonprofit health center that provides licensed services to uninsured residents of York County.
Racers registered prior to February 20, 2026 receive a t shirt and a reusable water bottle. Racers who register after that date receive shirts and bottles on a first come, first serve basis. The first 200 runners and walkers registered receive a single ticket voucher to a York Revolution game. Traveller Coffee Company will be on site selling coffee and other drinks.
