Washed Clean
Washed Clean is a trail running and walking event held on the Genesis Church property in York, PA (1405 Seven Valleys RD, 17408). The course runs around the church grounds and finishes with a foam finish. The trail is described as moderate with approximately 56 ft of elevation change. Strollers are allowed on the walk but are not recommended for the 5K trail; dogs are not recommended.
The event includes these distances:
- 3.1 miles 5K Run
- 1 mile Walk
- 440 yards Kids Fun Run
Registration opens on 10/1/2026 and closes on 4/2/2027; there will be no in-person race day registration. Registration fees listed in the event information are $35.00 for the 5K and the 1-mile walk; the kids fun run is free. Racers registered prior to 3/5/27 will receive a free t-shirt and coffee mug. Registrations after 3/5/27 may receive shirts and mugs on a first-registered, first-served basis. The first 200 runners and walkers registered will receive a single ticket voucher to a York Revolution game. Free items and the ticket voucher do not apply to the kids fun run.
All proceeds benefit Genesis STEAM homeschool co-op (25%) and Katallasso Family Health Center (75%). Katallasso is a faith-based, non-profit healthcare center serving uninsured residents of York County. Genesis STEAM is a parent-run co-op through Genesis Church focused on academic and spiritual development for children. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
