Race Overview
The US Road Running event in York takes place at Cousler Park. This organized run provides multiple distance options for participants using out-and-back course layouts. The event is part of the US Road Running Race Series, though club membership is not required to participate. All participants must complete their registration online through RunSignup before the event, as there is no registration available on-site at the park.
Course Details
The event features courses designed on paved paths within the park grounds. Parking is available near Pavilion C, which serves as the central point for packet pickup. The routes are structured as follows:
- 5K: An out-and-back course completed two times.
- 10K: An out-and-back course completed four times.
- Half Marathon: An out-and-back course completed six times.
Participant Information
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all distances. Every finisher receives a themed medal upon completing their selected distance. Participants have the option to wear costumes during the race, and a group photo is typically taken at the beginning of the event.
