The Frosty 5K
The Frosty 5K is the sixth annual road race held at Hoffer Park in Middletown, Pennsylvania. The course starts and finishes in the park and follows streets on the east side of Middletown Borough.
Proceeds benefit the Middletown Area Historical Society to collect, preserve and teach about the history of Middletown, Dauphin County and the surrounding area. Post-race snacks are provided and hot soup is served by Alfred's Victorian Restaurant.
Prizes include cash awards for the top three male, female and youth under 15 finishers. Age group winner medals are given to both male and female winners. Age groups include 8 and under, 9 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69 and 70 plus.
Distance offered: 3.1 miles.
