Warslow Fell Race
Warslow Fell Race comprises senior and junior events held on Saturday 4 July 2026. The senior race covers 10 km (6.2 miles) with approximately 675 m (2215 ft) of ascent. The course includes steep and technical ascents and descents and is intended for experienced fell runners.
The event is licensed by the Fell Runners Association, Licence Number 2026-9716, and will be conducted under FRA and UKA competition rules. Organisers will operate cut-off times and may require FRA mandatory kit for runners, depending on conditions. Entrants are expected to be capable of completing the senior course within 1 hour 55 minutes.
Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third overall in the male and female categories. The route crosses private land; participants are asked not to recce sections that lie outside public footpaths or access land. A race briefing will be held before the senior start.
Venue and access details list Warslow Village Hall, Cheadle Road (B5053), Warslow, Buxton, Derbyshire SK17 0JJ. Parking is on village roads; runners are asked to be considerate to residents and other road users. Public transport options may be available via the Moorlands Connect bus service.
