Courses
12 km: Runners follow the KVR for about 2.5 km before dropping onto upper Myra Bailout and merging into Angel Springs. This section includes roots, rocks and creek crossings, plus changing terrain from moss- and fern-filled forest to open single track. Ascent 204 m; descent 672 m.
25 km: The course starts on the KVR, then follows Capitan Nemo, Lost Lake, Bellevue Access and Blancher's Silver. The route descends Doc Savage, climbs Lookout and Crawford trails (about 4 km), returns to the KVR for a flat stretch, then descends Myra Bailout and Angel Springs to the finish. Ascent 510 m; descent 1000 m.
35 km: The long course begins on the KVR and shares upper sections with the other distances. After a split at Blancher's Silver the route uses Vapour trail, descends to an aid station near Crawford parking, then follows a mix of trails (including Earring, Surf 'n' turf and Crawford) back to the KVR before linking to the final 12 km to the finish. Ascent 940 m; descent 1420 m. The second aid station is located on the KVR at about 21 km.
Logistics and race support
Shuttles transport runners from the Adventure Park finish area to the KVR start; parking at the KVR is not available. Drop bags are permitted if labeled and will be returned to Myra Adventure Park. Aid stations serve water, sports drink, gels, fruit, chips, candies, pickles and cola; checking in at aid stations is mandatory. The event is cup-less so runners must carry a reusable cup or hydration pack. Organizers recommend a lightweight jacket, emergency blanket, extra warm layer, gloves, sunscreen, sunglasses, bear spray, phone and high-energy fuel. Lunch is included with registration and dietary preferences are collected on the tear-away portion of the race bib. The event uses compostable and recyclable materials and digital waivers.
