Event overview

Wandering Moose is a trail running event at Myra Canyon Adventure Park, June Springs Road, Kelowna, BC, on October 10, 2026. The event offers multiple distances and a kids race.

All courses finish on the Angel Springs section, which includes roots, rocks and creek crossings. Lunch is included with race entry; vegan and gluten-free curry and rice is offered for those who selected that preference, and pizza is offered for no-preference orders. Beer and cider will be available for purchase at the finish (cash only).

Courses, aid stations and logistics

Course highlights:

  • 12 km: flat KVR section followed by Myra Bailout and Angel Springs single track.
  • 25 km and 35 km: start on the KVR, include Capitan Nemo, Lost Lake, Blancher's Silver and long descents on Myra Bailout and Angel Springs. The 35 km course includes additional climbs and returns to the KVR before linking to the 12 km finish.

  • 12 km: ascent 204 m, descent 672 m.
  • 25 km: ascent 510 m, descent 1000 m.
  • 35 km: ascent 940 m, descent 1420 m.

Aid stations provide water, sports drink, gels, fruit, chips, bars, pickles and coke. Runners must check in at aid stations and keep bibs visible on the front. There is no parking at the KVR start; shuttles run from the Adventure Park and runners may bring a labeled drop bag to be returned to the finish. A recommended gear list is provided by the organizer.
