About the race
Wandering Moose is a trail-running event at Myra Canyon Adventure Park in Kelowna, British Columbia. It offers three distances: 12 km, 25 km and 35 km, with a grassroots, adventurous vibe and wide-open canyon views. The course is mostly single-track with spice, using the KVR historic rail-trail and trails in Myra Bellevue Provincial Park.
The 35 km route starts on the KVR at about 1,250 m, includes Lost Lake, Capitan Nemo, Blancher's Silver, Vapour, and features reversals and climbs. The 25 km and 12 km routes offer their own scenic descents and technical sections. A Kids Race raises funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association (Georgia's Wish).
