Races take place at Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park and use a mix of singletrack, Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) sections and technical descents such as Myra Bailout and Angel Springs. Trails move from cool, moss- and fern-covered forest to brighter singletrack alongside KLO Creek Park. The 35 km route links Earring Trail, Surf'n'Turf, Crawford Trail and about 8 km of KVR before joining the upper Myra Bailout and Angel Springs descent.
Because of limited parking at the start locations, the shuttle from the park is mandatory for 16 km and 25 km entries; the 35 km starts and finishes at the park and does not require a shuttle.
Aid stations offer water, Hammer Nutrition products, gels, fruit, chips, pickles and cola among other items. Runners must bring a foldable bowl for food and a reusable mug or cup for drinks; aid stations are also mandatory check points and bibs must be visible. Lunch is included for entrants and is distributed based on preselected dietary preferences with pizza or vegan/gluten free curry options.
Sustainability measures include a cupless policy, compostable and recyclable containers at aid stations, recyclable bibs and recycling and composting at start and finish areas. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
