Walk In My Shoes 5K Run For Children's Mental Health Awareness
The Walk In My Shoes 5K Run For Children's Mental Health Awareness takes place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Tradewinds Park, 3600 West Sample Road, Coconut Creek, FL. The event combines race categories with a post-race celebration at Fritillary Pavilion and aims to raise awareness about children's mental health.

The course is an out-and-back route along the park's waterway. The start and finish are located at the Grandiosa and Fritillary Pavilions. All finishers receive a medal, and each participant is provided an authentic T-shirt and a collectible race bib.
Awards are given to First Overall Male and Female Masters and to the top three male and female finishers in the age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Packet pick-up is scheduled at Tradewinds Park with a pre-race date on May 29 and an on-site pick-up on the race day.
The event includes live music by an Emmy-nominated singer, food, and activities for adults and children. No refunds will be issued. Funds raised support youth and families served by Change Me Foundation programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
