Walk In My Shoes Children Mental Health Awareness 5K
Walk In My Shoes is the 9th annual event hosted by Change Me Foundation Inc. in Coconut Creek, Florida. It is held on May 30, 2026, at 3600 West Sample Road and focuses on raising awareness of children's mental health and reducing the stigma of asking for help. The event brings together families, schools, healthcare providers, and community leaders and provides resources for youth, their families, and support systems.
The event includes running events for different ages and features activities for adults and children. There will be a live performance by a nominated Emmy singer and a post event gathering described as a festive run and party. Participants receive an authentic T shirt and a collectible run bib. Participants who upload a photo or video of their run receive a Gold Medal. The event also functions as a fundraiser and fundraising proceeds benefit the youth and families served by Change Me Foundation Programs.
