Event details
The Luau 5K & 10K takes place on May 16, 2026 at Brian Piccolo Sports Park in Hollywood, FL 33024. The event includes two distances:
- 5K
- 10K
All participants must register online through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration.
Course and logistics
The course is described as an out-and-back loop. Runners repeat the loop during the race: the 5K completes the loop two times and the 10K completes the loop four times. The start area is located by the tennis courts and restrooms on the northeast side of the park, adjacent to Cricket Field 2. A course map is provided by the organizer.
There is a 2-hour course time limit. Parking at the park carries a fee of $3.00 per car; this fee is not included with race registration. The event offers finisher medals and has associated shirt and gear options, a best costume element, series points, and awards as noted by the organizer.
