Luau 5K & 10K
US Road Running stages a Luau-themed running event at a park on 9501 Sheridan St, Hollywood, FL. The event offers two race distances and is organized around a short loop course that is repeated to reach each race distance. The start is located next to Cricket Field 2, just off the parking lot and across from the baseball fields.
Distances and entry fees:
- 5K, registration fee $30.00
- 10K, registration fee $45.00
The course description notes a 0.78 mile segment used as an out-and-back section. The 5K covers that segment two times and the 10K covers it four times. A two hour course time limit applies.
Logistics include on-site packet pickup beginning 30 minutes before the race and ending 10 minutes before the race start. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The park gate opens at 8:00 AM. Parking requires a $3.00 fee per car that is not included with registration.
