Walk for Resilience 5K Run/Walk
The Walk for Resilience 5K Run/Walk is a community-centered mental health event hosted by Carmel’s Depression and Anxiety Wellness Foundation (CDAWF). The event is an inclusive 5K in which participants may walk, jog, or run at their own pace. It brings together walkers, runners, families, and supporters to raise awareness for depression and anxiety and to promote movement, connection, and healing.
Proceeds support CDAWF’s mental health education, wellness programming, and community outreach initiatives, funding resources, coping tools, and access to support for individuals and families affected by depression and anxiety.
Event amenities listed for the race include professional timing with bibs, warm up and cool down, water and light snacks, DJ and sound support, community resource presence, a calm inclusive race-day experience aligned with the event’s mental wellness focus, port-a-potties, bag drop, live text and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for registrations made three weeks in advance.
Awards recognize the top three male and female overall finishers and the top 100 finishers. Bib pickup is handled by event staff starting one hour before the event; a bib number is required for pickup and last-minute registrants may receive their bib number by text shortly after registering.
Registration is not yet open. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
