Queens Marathon Weekend 2026
Queens Marathon Weekend takes place across two days in December 2026, with shorter races hosted in Flushing Meadows Corona Park and the marathon and half marathon moved onto the streets of Long Island City. The weekend includes park-based 5K and 10K races and a street marathon and half marathon in Queens.
The event offers these race distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Half marathon (13.1 miles)
- Full marathon (26.2 miles)
The organizers note a course change: after years in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, the marathon and half marathon will start near LaGuardia Community College in Long Island City as a street race. Flushing Meadows Corona Park remains the site for the 5K and 10K.
Transportation details are provided for each day, including recommended parking areas at the Queens Museum lot for park events and multiple subway options for Long Island City. Organizers advise allowing extra time on race day because of street closures and race-day activity; they specifically recommend arriving earlier on the Long Island City race day.
Registration fees are required and registration terms state that fees are non-refundable. Results are available online with same-day finish line photos and video.
