Queens Marathon and QDR Half Marathon
The 2026 edition of this community event takes place at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, New York. Organized by the Queens Distance Runners, the event operates rain or shine with a variety of distance options for participants. While the full marathon is a featured component of the series, the spring date focuses on several shorter distance races.
The available distances for this event include:
- Full Marathon (26.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
The event center is located at the Queens Museum, Building, on Meridian Road. The course is used as the finale for the Queens Crew Cup, a season-long points competition for local run clubs and crews. Participants who register at least three weeks before the race date receive their name printed on their bib.
Awards are presented to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers overall. Additionally, awards are given to the top three finishers in several age groups, ranging from 29 and under to 60 and over. The event provides live online, email, and text results, along with same-day finish line photographs and video.
Parking is available at the Queens Museum lot, near the Queens Theatre, and under the Van Wyck Expressway. The venue is also accessible via public transit via the 7 Train to the Mets-Willets Point station, followed by a walk or jog to the Unisphere.
