Queens Marathon Weekend 2026
Queens Marathon Weekend runs across two days in December 2026 and features multiple road races organized by Queens Distance Runners. The program includes events at Flushing Meadows Corona Park and a new street course in Long Island City that will host the marathon and half marathon.
The weekend includes these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
The 5K and 10K take place at Flushing Meadows Corona Park near the Queens Museum and the Unisphere. The full marathon and the QDR Half Marathon move to a street course in Long Island City, with the start area near LaGuardia Community College. Organizers note the course change responds to repeated flooding around Meadow Lake and aims to expand the race into more Queens neighborhoods over time.
Registration is required and fees vary by event and membership level. All registration fees are non refundable and registration terms include a release of liability and permission to use event photography and video. Awards are given to the top three male female and non binary finishers overall and in standard age groups.
Public transit options are listed for each site, including the 7 train to Mets Willets Point for the park and subway access to Queens Plaza and Court Square for Long Island City.
